"Thank you very much for receiving me yesterday with such affection and kindness. It was a beautiful experience to personally meet a company and a team of professionals so committed "
Susana

On January 24th, Eurogine was visited by Ms. Susana Atienza, Director of Marketing and Recruitment of Doctors of the World. It turned out to be a very pleasant, relaxed and entertaining meeting, in which we discussed about the sexual and reproductive health aspects that Doctors of the World work in the field. But also in this visit, Eurogine delivered the donation to which it had committed to Doctors of the World as a result of the signing of a collaboration agreement in the month of August.
With this donation Doctors of the World has initiated an action plan consisting of the rehabilitation of an information and awareness centre on sexual and reproductive health and family planning for young people, adolescents and women in Senegal, in coordination with the Ministry of Health of the country.
These centres are spaces integrated into health resources and coordinated by local associations of women and youth to promote information and care including prevention of sexually transmitted diseases, family planning, etc.
In this case, the action plan that will be carried out with the Eurogine donation will be made in the Pikine Health District, Mbao sub-district, in Senegal. It is a peri-urban area of Dakar, characterized by a very rapid population growth, significant population flows, public health problems in relation to sanitation and anarchic habitat, high levels of poverty, great diversity and cultural mix. In general, a particularly disadvantaged area.
The Mbao Health District has asked Doctors of the World for support for the rehabilitation of its centre and its equipment with information and awareness, preventive, contraceptive, family planning, etc. This action will allow Doctors of the World to directly improve the availability and accessibility of sexual and reproductive health services for young people, especially for women, in this particularly disadvantaged district with a vulnerable population.
